New Family Counseling & Adolescent Drug Treatment

Margaret Sanders is a social services agency dedicated to helping families.  Our primary focus is on parenting.  Our commitment is to respond with useful support groups and programs that meet the needs of a full spectrum of family issues and to bring into contrast the help needed in differing parenting groups.  From single parents, grandparents raising their grandchildren, to the more traditional family model.  We affirm the "Relational Model" that connects those persons with identifiable needs to a support network.  The support network may be church members, support groups, and other community agencies designed to deal with a specific need in life.  We will provide information to each person in need about all programs available in our community, and provide a network of support.

Some of our Programs:

*Parent Nurturing Program

*Successful Parenting

*Before you Divorce

*Divorce Mediation

*Co-Parenting after Divorce

Serving you when School's Out  Ongoing -today due to school cancellation

Think Snow, Think YMCA.  When school's out, the YMCA is in.  On Wednesday, December 4th, schools were closed due to the impending snow and ice storm.  However, when schools close, businesses are usually open and parents still go to work.  Providing services and programs that help build spirit, mind and body for all.  That's what the YMCA does. The YMCA has been assisting parents with a much needed drop-in day camp service for years.  On Wednesday, over 40 area school children had been dropped of at the Y for a full day of enriching activities.  Kids who come to the Y, are involved with art projects, exercise/gym activities, movies, snacks and even a daily devotion...remember the "spirit", mind and body!  The fee for day camp is a reasonable $15 a day ($3 discount for YMCA members).  There is a one time registration fee of $20 also. Think Snow, Think YMCA.  Call 926-9622 for more details.
